O Autor Eu comecei a escrever este livro em 2007 porque não havia publicações em como trabalhar pelos direitos animais e algo sobre isso precisava realmente ser escrito (mas desde então, veja Striking at the Roots nos links da página). Eu sou um ativista dos direitos animais, conservacionista e biólogo, com graduação em biologia e psicologia e doutorado em ecologia de comportamento animal. Dentre outras coisas, trabalhei nas aparentemente incompat���is áreas de agropecuária e conservação de lobos, tendo por alguns anos sido o organizador do Wolf Trust a fim de educar pessoas sobre a questão dos lobos e promover a reintrodução de lobos na Grã-Bretanha.
