Brute Ethics

Brute Ethics is a primer and encyclopedia about animal ethics - understanding animal-human issues through knowledge and reasoning and acting for the moral good. Animal ethic encompasses animal rights, animal welfare, nature conservation and applied ethics. It should appeal to you if you have an inquiring mind and especially if you have an interest in animal life.

When we interact with animals are we doing right or wrong, good or bad? Everyone makes unavoidable daily moral decisions about animals - whether eating them, using them in soap or feeding them to pets. Our best actions spring from understanding and good reasoning. Therefore we should be knowledgeable about what we and humanity are doing, question critically and then act.
